Government contractor Dyncorp International Inc. (DCP.N: Quote, Profile, Research) posted a first-quarter profit and backed its full-year forecast, but shares fell on investor fears that the company may have to compete again for a large U.S. Army contract.
The U.S. Government Accountability Office is reviewing a $4.6 billion Army linguistics contract awarded to a DynCorp joint venture, after the current holder of the contract, L-3 Communications Holdings (LLL.N: Quote, Profile, Research) challenged the award.
